Varun Gujral, DPM

Board-certified podiatrist Varun Gujral, DPM, brings over 15 years of experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic wound care, and sports medicine to Affiliated Foot & Ankle Care, with offices in Edison, Monroe, and Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.

Dr. Gujral was born in New Delhi and raised in Staten Island, New York. He began his professional education at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Gujral then enrolled at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, where he received his doctorate in podiatry, graduating near the top of his class.

After medical school, Dr. Gujral moved to Pittsburgh for a primary podiatric medical residency at West Penn Hospital. He later completed a residency in foot and ankle surgery at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

Since entering private practice, Dr. Gujral has continued to build upon his professional knowledge and expertise. He’s a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Gujral is board-certified in foot surgery and wound care, and takes great pride in providing attentive, one-on-one care for all of his clients.

When he isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Gujral enjoys spending time with his wife, Eva, and their three children. Dr. Gujral loves the great outdoors, particularly skiing, fishing, and kayaking.

Cindel Harris, DPM

Cindel Harris, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon who specializes in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction as well as non-operative management of the foot and ankle. Dr. Harris’ academic journey began at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Biology and Spanish. During her time there, Dr. Harris made significant contributions to research, publishing a paper titled, “Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation from Pure Water using Silicon Carbide Nanoparticles.”

She continued her academic career and pursued her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) and actively participated in the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM) student chapter. Through her medical studies, she received an award for American Podiatric Medical Students’ Basketball Tournament MVP for dedication and excellence.

She completed her podiatric surgical residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau. Dr. Harris strives to ensure that each patient receives compassionate care and tailors their needs to obtain the utmost relief. Lastly, Dr. Harris keeps a balanced life outside of my podiatry endeavors with current hobbies such as drawing, mixed martial arts, dancing, and yoga.
